# My customer sent an insufficient amount (missing amount)

If your customer sent **less than the amount requested**, the transaction **stays pending**. It is neither lost nor validated: the payment simply needs to be completed.

**Usual causes:** forgotten fees, or amount copied incorrectly into the wallet.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Golden rule: never recreate the transaction.** The customer must complete the payment in progress.
{% endhint %}

### What to do

#### If the customer's payment page is still open

1. The page shows the **missing amount** (for example "Missing 0.32812 EURC") and **the address to send to**.
2. The customer sends the missing amount **to the same address**, with **the same crypto** and **on the same network**.
3. Wait for "Payment validated" on your device.

#### If the customer has closed their payment page

You can send them the link to their payment page again from your back office:

1. Open your **back office**, then the **Transaction history**.
2. Select the **ALL** filter.
3. Find the transaction concerned (using its short code, amount or time).
4. Click on the **three small dots** to the right of the row, then on **Transaction URL**.
5. Send this URL to your customer. By opening it, they get back to their payment page with the missing amount and the address to send to, and complete their payment.

{% hint style="info" %}
To avoid this step, ask your customer to **keep their payment page open** in their browser until validation.
{% endhint %}

### If it's still stuck

If the top-up has been sent and nothing is validated after 10 minutes, [contact Lyzi](/en/faq/support/comment-contacter-le-support-lyzi.md) with the transaction short code.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.lyzi.io/en/faq/problemes-de-paiement/mon-client-a-envoye-un-montant-insuffisant-montant-manquant.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
