# Promo Codes & Loyalty
Lyzi offers two fee-reduction mechanisms for payers: **loyalty** (automatic) and **promo codes** (entered manually).

## Loyalty Discount
### How It Works
The loyalty discount is applied automatically after 5 successful payments of €50 or more at a merchant.

5 payments of **+€50** at a merchant = -20% on fees for your 6th payment

### Real-Time Preview
Before confirming a payment, the payer sees a preview of the fees with the loyalty discount already applied.

### Eligibility Requirements
* The payer must have a history of 5 successful payments at this merchant.
* The 5 payments must each be > €50.
* The conversion fees must not be zero.

## Promo Codes
### How to Apply a Code
#### 1. Double-click on "LYZI LOYALTY"
#### **2. Enter the promo code in the dedicated field during payment.**
#### 3. The Code Is Validated in Real Time
A "Promo code registered" notice appears and the fees are updated immediately.

## Combining Loyalty + Promo Code

A promo code cannot be applied if a loyalty discount is already active on the customer's account. The two benefits cannot be combined.

If a loyalty discount is in place, it applies first and the promo code field is disabled or ignored. To use a promo code, the customer must not have an active loyalty discount on their account at the time of payment.

## FAQ
Can the payer use the same code twice?
No, a code cannot be claimed twice. Expired reservations are reconciled automatically.
What is the minimum amount to use a promo code or loyalty discount?
None. You can use a promo code or benefit from a loyalty discount starting from €0.
Can I combine a promo code and a loyalty discount on the same payment?
No. Only one benefit applies per payment: loyalty takes priority.
Does loyalty apply at all merchants or only certain ones?
Loyalty applies at any merchant.
